Eligibility
Open to male members of an affiliated golf club, listed on the WHS, excluding iGolf Members, who meet the following criteria:
Competitors must be of Amateur Status, as defined by The R & A Rules of Amateur Status.
Competitors must have a valid WHS number. WHS™ requires a golfer to be identified as male or female and an individual can only hold one gender category of WHS™ handicap at a time.
Open to competitors with a Handicap Index of 28.0 or below.
To be eligible to compete/win the cup or prize voucher players must have 3 individual qualifying competition scores in the previous 12 months from the date of the competition. General Play scores and 4BBB scores do not count.
Entry Requirements & Dates
Entry opens when the online entry becomes live and closes 23:59 on Wednesday 2 September 2026
Late entries may be permitted at the discretion of the Competition Committee
The field may be limited to 138 players at the discretion of the Competition Committee
Entry Fee (per person) £10.00 Members, £28.00 Visitors must be paid at time of online entry. The entry is non-refundable*
*Refund of Entry Fee in the event of a withdrawal
At the discretion of the Competition Committee a refund may be granted if the withdrawal is made before the draw for start times is published and the field is full on the day of the competition.

Date of Play: Saturday 5th September 2026
Form of Play: Individual Stableford
Played over 18 holes
Maximum Playing Handicap: 18
Blue or Gold Tees
Handicap Allowance – 95% of Course Handicap
Play will be 3 balls only - Players must stay in groups organised by the Committee unless separate permission is granted ahead of the competition.
The competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and such Local Rules and Terms of the Competition as shall be approved by the Competition Committee.
Registration
Players need to register and pick up their card from the Professionals Shop.

Prizes
Prizes as stated by the Competition Committee and subject to the size of the field.
The player with the lowest net score (after countback if needed) will receive the Atlantic Cup.
Score Returned
A score is considered returned when the scorecard is placed in the Competition Box.
Unless otherwise stated:
On completion of the round, scores must be entered using the P.S.I. screen at the end of the bar in the lounge or by using the M.S.I. facility on your mobile phone or smart device (score entry will close after last group have finished).
Players should enter their scores as soon as possible after finishing their round and THEN PLACE THEIR CARD IN THE COMPETITION BOX situated under the P.S.I. Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARD AWAY WITH YOU as it will not be considered as returned and you will be disqualified. (It might be needed for further verification of your or your partner’s score.
Scores not entered using the P.S.I. or M.S.I. facility run the risk of not being included in the competition results and any Two’s may not be registered.
Ties
All ties will be decided on the back 9,6,3,1 holes.
Competition Closed
The result of the competition is final after the winners have been announced at the prize giving ceremony. If the prize giving ceremony is not carried out on the day, the competition is deemed to be closed when the result is posted.
