Winter Series R1 Rules

• Four-Ball Betterball Stableford – 85% Handicap Allowance

• Strokes received H.I. x S.R. x 85%

• Men - Blue Tees

           Ladies – Red Tees

• Players must have 3 qualifying competition scores in the previous 12 months from the date of the competition. General Play scores OR 4BBB scores do not count.

• PLAY “READY GOLF”  - No group should take longer than 3 hours 50 minutes

• Pitchmarks – All players please repair at least one pitchmark on every green, even if it’s not yours!

• Players should refer to the local rules on the printed on the scorecard and any additional local rules on the club noticeboard.

• Please be at the tee 5 minutes before your allotted start time but start on time!, keep up with the group in front and avoid slow play

• Players must stay in groups organised by the Committee unless separate permission is granted ahead of the competition.

• Recording your Score

Rule 23.2b applies: The side's gross scores for each hole must be entered on a single scorecard and, in a handicap competition, each partner's handicap or shots received must be entered on the scorecard.

For each hole:

• The gross score of at least one partner must be entered on the scorecard.


• There is no penalty for entering more than one partner's score on the scorecard.


• Each score on the scorecard must be clearly identified as the score of the individual partner who made it; if this is not done, the side is disqualified.


• It is not enough to identify a score as the score of the side in general.

            Only one partner needs to certify the hole scores on             the side's scorecard under Rule 3.3b(2).

• Returning Scores – All scores MUST be returned using the P.S.I. Terminal in the clubhouse or the Mobile IG App

Once a score is entered using the P.S.I or M.S.I. the card must be placed in the COMPETITION BOX, underneath the terminal, when it is deemed to be returned. A card that is not entered into the Competition Box at the conclusion of play will be deemed as a NIL RETURN and any “TWO’S” discounted. The card needs to comply with Rule 3.3b(2) & Rule 23.2b before being placed in the competition box.
