Buggy Policy

Any persons (either members or visitors) using mechanically propelled golf buggies on Newquay Golf Course do so in the deemed knowledge that the Golf Course is undulating, presenting natural and obvious hazards to golf buggy users and upon the strict understanding that:

  1. They have in force a comprehensive policy of insurance with an Insurance Company of repute covering all losses, injuries or damage which may be sustained by themselves or third parties as a result of any accident which may occur whilst their golf buggy is in use.
  2. The driver of the golf buggy ensures that an appropriate route (along fairways and other designated ways only) is taken at all times and particular care and attention is paid at points of obvious danger on the Golf Course.

Anyone who is unable or unwilling to comply with the requirements of this notice must not under any circumstances take a mechanically propelled golf buggy onto the Golf Course.

Other Conditions:

  • No one under the age of 18 years is permitted to drive a buggy
  • Anyone found to be driving without due care and attention or “racing” will be asked to leave the course immediately.
  • All buggies MUST be kept away from the TEES, GREENS and FRINGES of the greens

The Committee and Management reserve the right not to permit the use of buggies on the course at any time if they think conditions are unfit.
